Golden Retriever Portrait, Finished

Here's my finished portrait of Vincent the golden retriever:
I like the way he is looking at the viewer. Between his feet is a dried pig's ear, one of his favorite snacks.

For the floorboards, I used masking tape to make straight lines, and used some of the remaining paint from my mix to make a shade that compliments Vincent's coat. I glossed over the boards with another coat of Zinc White to make the floor look shiny and increase the contrast.
I added his collar and pig's ear on the floor, and made final adjustments to his coloring to bring out the redness in his coat.
